It is not all about the paycheck.

Sheet Metal Workers Local #29 has been serving Wichita for over 80 GREAT years. We understand that without it's wonderful citizens and fantastic businesses, such as yours, we would not have the opportunity to practice our craft.

The knowledge of this instills in us the desire to serve this community. We seek every opportunity to take part in community events. From serving BBQ and building smokers to auction at Zoobliee and building rockets for Riverfest, we love to help where we can. From regular donations to The United Way and The Salvation Army to installing picnic tables and storage shelving at Union Rescue Mission. We love this community and love every chance we get to give back.

Sheet Metal Workers Local #29 have been helping out with Zoobilee since 2012. We always enjoy hearing how much a smoker or art piece we build and donate, raises at auction. We also love serving the homemade BBQ we bring to the crowd at Zoobilee.

We were asked to provide some centerpieces to a few events at Riverfest. We thought, "what exemplifies Wichita more than our aeronautical roots?" So we built a couple of 24' tall rockets from 16ga sheet metal. Here we are installing them on Waterman St., down by the Arkansas River.

Here we are having fun, while unloading the mail carriers vans that they have been loading food into for donations to The Food Bank.
